Homemade Summer Lemonade
Image and recipe sourced from myrecipes.com
Most of us are happy about the current turn of season, but too much heat can leave you feeling drained and dehydrated. So we’ve decided to show you how to make a familiar favourite that will quench your thirst in a way no other drink can, and bring that summer spring back in your step.
- ¾ cup caster sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 2 cups of ice cubes
- Lemon slices, to decorate
1) Stir the sugar into boiling water until it dissolves. Make sure you mix this in a heatproof bowl. Leave the mixture to cool.
2) Add the lemon juice and 2 cups of cold water to the cooled sugar mixture. Give this a good stir. Throw in some ice cubes and decorate with lemon slices. Serve Cold.
There’s nothing like sitting back and relaxing with ice-cold lemonade in your hand. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do!
